An Early Version of Red Bull's Extreme Air Race

As one might expect from Red Bull, they’ve got an extreme sport in the air as well. The Red Bull Air Race, which was started in 2003, features pilots flying highly specialized aerobatic planes through a series of gates in an extreme demonstration of precision. Reaching top speeds of over 250 mph, they push their liming to race the clock. The international competition is an annual event that accumulates points toward a championship title.
