Honolulu offers spectacular weather year ‘round. While you’re there, don’t miss the Pearl Harbor National Museum and the Hanauma Bay National Preserve.

Things really warm up in Miami, where winter highs are in the mid-70s. Enjoy an Everglades airboat tour, take in the Wynwood Walls street art, dip your toes in the Atlantic at Bayfront Park, enjoy Cuban culture in Little Havana — you’ll find endless activities to appreciate in vibrant Miami.

The multicultural explosion that is San Antonio delights visitors year ‘round and with high temperatures in the mid-60s, winter is a particularly great time to check out the Alamo City. September in San Juan, Puerto Rico, can get a bit toasty, but in January the weather floats around a balmy 81 degrees Fahrenheit. Beaches, hiking, culture and fine dining beckon visitors. History, too, is on display in this 500-year-old city, which many say is reminiscent of old European towns. To wit, don’t miss Visit Castillo San Felipe del Morro and Castillo San Cristóbal, citadels built by Spaniards centuries ago.

Don some shorts and enjoy a hike through Saguaro National Park in Tucson, Arizona, where winter temperatures are typically in the high 60s and rain is scarce. Stroll the beautiful University of Arizona campus, and visit the San Xavier del Bac Mission. Immerse yourself in centuries of Spanish influence, with incredible food and spectacular architecture.
