Marques Brownlee, better known as MKBHD, delivers an in-depth look at the cutting-edge folding smartphone, the Moto Razr+. What's evident from his review is that this phone marks a significant advancement in the foldable phone space. Brownlee believes it's priced quite reasonably at $999, considering its features and the prices of other folding phones.

Brownlee is thoroughly impressed with the Moto Razr Plus's sizeable screen, unusual for a compact, folding phone. The 6.9-inch POLED insternal display with a 165Hz panel completely reinvents our expectations for folding phones — a reason to get excited about it.
Brownlee also praises the redesign, which includes an aluminum hinge mechanism and results in slimmer bezels. This doesn't eliminate the crease in the screen but certainly makes it less visible when using or browsing through content on the device.
The Moto Razr+ is equipped quite nicely with mid-range specs and some features worthy of high-end phones - including a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. While not necessarily a flagship model, it certainly isn't lacking.
The Moto Razr+'s outside screen can be used for anything – phone calls, applications messages, emails and even a few games that are exclusive to Motorola. You can even watch YouTube videos.
The outside display’s features can potentially reshape user interactions with foldable phones. According to Brownlee, these expectations align well with rumors about Samsung's upcoming Flip 5 phone expected to be launched in summer 2023.
The cleverly designed half-folded mode also caught Brownlee’s attention. The Moto Razr+ can record video while simultaneously allowing users to see themselves on screen, offering valuable out-of-phone interactions like never before.
In addition to discussing Moto Razr Plus, Brownlee also talks about another upcoming Motorola product. The regular Razr has slightly lower specs than the Razr+ but also has positive features such as a larger battery capacity (4200 mAh), bigger primary camera (64 megapixels), smaller weight and a lower price point that should be less than $700.
